Heehee

Yay for breaks!

There's no reason that I need to stress about writing everyday, especially when there's a trillion other things that need attention. Even still, every day I think about what happens and has happened and what I'd do to write it up with a little zest and a dash of lemon pepper. But I'm not sure what one can do to zest up something so bland and tasteless that has been my last week. Peut-etre en peu SouR-MilK avec tout???

I've been coming into work, working, working on the side too, thinking about christmas and vacation a lot. I've been thinking of the future a lot recently, especially the near future. And for some reason I've instantly remembered my awesome dream.

My family and I were on vacation at some place, America probably but I can't place it. There was this really awesome shopping center that was like Trader Joe's but actually worthwhile to shop in. Burn. Nah I like that place but it's always crowded and it's a small place. Some people like that. Some people like to be packed into a place like they are sardines, swimming in each other's glandsweat. But this place was the size of Safeway but with the charm of TJ's. Daddy was very excited, and I was excited that things weren't mind bogglingly expensive and/or ginormous (word thinks I mean “generous”). So we got two shopping carts full of nuts and sweets and meats but not sweetmeats and some frozen delights. We were very happy with our purchases, as was Stephen who oversaw the ordeal with a knowing, slight nod.

On the way out, we overlooked a quad that had an orchestra playing, it was very nice, but all of a sudden a lot of dancers and singers came out. And it turned into a Belgium Opera. I have no idea what that means but in my dream it made sense - it was a particular type of Light Opera or Comedic Opera, it was in a strange language but it was marvelous. Extravagant dresses, over-the-top ebullience with their facial expressions. And the music, thank you, was gorgeous. (My mind loves to compose while I sleep, beautiful, 20 part things that I can't comprehend when I awake).

We watched on with glee, but at some point I realized we weren't guarding our carts. They were missing. It was pretty sad. Rather than pay for another $100 worth of groceries, I decided it was prudent to spend the rest of my dream tracking down whatever vagrants and vagabonds had stolen my precious precious foods. I accosted the closest person and demanded if they had saw someone steal my carts, and he pointed, and the foot was a game, or versa vice.

I drove to new york, to chicago, big cities, always hot on the trail, one bum pointing to another. Finally I caught up to my prey; it was the homeless guy who I've seen almost every day for the last year and a half, always at the street corner intersection by my work. He told me he ate most of it and sold the rest for more food which doesn't make sense but at the time was crystal.

And you know what I did? Instead of smiling and tipping him $20 for a grand adventure (do you see how meticulous I am about the placement of my $, Meg?), I dragged him to the police and made him admit he stole my foods.

So am I lawful good or lawful evil? What would a paladin do? Besides bubblehearth. Mixing genres!!! How rebellious! I also enjoy the fact that most people will enjoy (??) this post up until this last segment where they will boggle wholesomely. I'm looking at you, Lacy Tree. And Rob needs to buy WoW or else wonderful jokes like this will slip through his fingers as he claws for comprehension and then pretends it’s not worth his while so he smirks and scoffs. Don’t even pretend otherwise.

<3 I loves my family. <3

What night did you have that dream? Because I'm going to tell you something odd, and I'm not making it up. Thursday night, after arriving in Tacoma, I had a dream where I was shopping at Safeway, with a big long grocery list Kimi had given me, and the Safeway had two sections, so I had to go through a backroom to get to the second section to finish shopping, and since it was like a hallway, I left my cart in the first section. And then when I came back from the second section with my leeks, my cart was missing. And I had to talk to all the Safeway employees to see who had put my groceries away, but no one knew anything. And I was going to shop for the items again but now my list was missing. It was a very frustrating dream, I was very upset, but somehow the dream transitioned into a different part where at the back of the Safeway was a line of restaurants where a bunch of upper-class vampires were having a party and plotting and I had to infiltrate them, and at that point I forgot about the shopping list. Until I woke up. The end.
