III could have been something... I dunno, they just made it a comedy of some sort. Arnold coming out and putting on pink glasses, saying "talk to the hand" - I wasn't sure what they were going for but it wasn't "funny". It was just a little sad, like they just didn't care anymore.
Terminator IV though... slated 2009. Maybe in 40 years we can go back in time and stop production after II. But they'd try to stop us, those bastiges.
We saw Transformers recently too - I was expecting to see my childhood ripped out and gutted for 10$, and I guess that's kind of what happened. I couldn't help but laugh when they'd just show a tank or a car driving down the street, with subtitles, like - wow, this car is actually talking! Look at that car go. It's driving down the street, and now it's saying something. And now it's talking to another car. I mean seriously, I could do that myself. Hello Mr. Bus, how are you today? I'm great, Mr. Dumptruck. Oh by the way, I can transform into a giant robot and plan to steal all of earth's technology, but I accidentally crash landed 1000 years too early so all I would steal is like the ability to make candles. I'd then be friends with Candle-tron, who has the ability to light himself on fire and burn himself away! But thankfully, a series of events allowed for me to escape just in time for me to take over cell phones instead! Yay!
I want millions of dollars too. :(
