Something new!
I went to get my haircut yesterday, as I have an IGDA meeting to go to in Toronto tonight, and Maryl suggested that I don't go to the normal $10 place. I was confused. I always get a $10 haircut, since the dawn of hairy-cuts. She suggested though, that I get a $20 haircut. That seemed like a lot of money to me for a haircut, but she reminded me that I only get my haircut once every 5 months anyway, and is $10 that big of a deal when it can be professionally done? I figured I'd give it a chance.
The lady there washed my hair. I've never had my hair washed. It was pretty luxurious. You lean back into a sink, close your eyes, and all of a sudden water at the perfect temperature is blasted on your fuzzy head and expert fingers scrub and massage away. THEN! Instead of the haircut lasting 10-15 minutes, I was there for almost forty. Forty minutes for a haircut? I don't even have that much hair to begin with.
My hair now is completely backwards. It combs foooorwards. Probably to hide my receding hairline, alas. But it's... new I guess. I sort of look like Robert more, which is a good thing as he's the handsome one in the family. Such a hottie!
