Wild Growth

A year ago Holden was a jabbering pile of nonsense, and nowadays it is even more so. It's amazing to see how much he has grown in such a short amount of time.

For example, when I met him he'd just jump around the ddr pad as fast as possible. But today? Today for the first time it actually clicked with him what he was supposed to do. He started to get them, trying to hit the arrows at the right time. You should have seen his face light up.

He also has a level 7 hunter, and loves to "calm things down" with his "stink pellets". He then "steals their fur" so that when they wake up again they'll be angry and cold.

He sings the portal song every night to help him sleep.

Today his teacher told me that he had an excellent week and was socializing better with the other kids than she's ever seen.

He's adjusting pretty darn well, and is happy on most occasions. He eats his supper even the gross ones, with mild complaints only.

It's pretty incredible, but mostly because the wild growth will only continue.

Lacy Tree:

It is amazing...I see it with my friend's kids. One day they're just randomly pressing the buttons on video games and then next thing you know they've beaten the game.
