So first and forecast, check out my new games! I say my games as if I birthed them from my loins, and in a sense I did; I birthed them from the loins of my ears. But don't look at them too closely without paying 9.99 a minute.
First gem that gemmed out was a little gem called Corpse Craft. It's part of the new social network gaming platform megapalooza called Whirled, by the same people who made it all the way with Puzzle Pirates. Did the sound and music for that, which you are free to listen to by playing the game and listening to it. Or, here's a high quality version of the song.
It was also mentioned in Penny Arcade!
Next, in the sense that before we were talking about the past and then the not so distantly past, came Braid. Last I looked it was #8 ranked for xbox 360 games for all time. One point below halo! I knew this was a great game but I secretly feared it would be one of those games that people just wouldn't "get". And by get, I mean understand, like, and buy. But thankfully it's doing its job and getting high acclaims and people like it! People really, really like it. For the most part. So do yourself a favor and find someone with an xbox, download the trial, then boast that you know the guy who "did" the sounds for that game. <3 <3 <3
It was also mentioned in Penny Arcade! (with its own comic!)
I was brought onto the project after the music was done, but wow is that music great! I'd like to shake the hands of the various people who put their hands to that task, then buy those hands a lotion creme soda.
As to what I'm up to now, I'll let this news release speak for itself, making the words burst into your mind as your eyes pass over them.

Huh! Normally don't pay attention to Xbox stuff, but it so happens that two blogs I read regularly both loved Braid:

Grats on working on a game with huge buzz! I'll check out CorpseCraft, that sounds good (and doesn't require me getting a 360 to play it)

Hey good work on the CorpseCraft game, though I must curse the song that heralds the day. (and the stupid lady fingers that drew off your horde of street walkers who were trashing the enemy base in the seconds before the sun)
